Bio

Hi there! I am John Robinson, the primary photographer and owner of John Robinson Photography. I've been shooting for 8 years now around the DC, MD, and VA region and I've been running my own photography business for 3 years. I am self taught, learning mainly from following other photographers, reading, and experimenting on my own. I have a master degree in Electrical Engineering and I work full time as a Software Engineer in Arlington, VA. I think that my strong background in electronics and design creativity as an engineer complement my photography, both in the technical aspect of working with the camera and the creative aspect of finding the perfect shot.

I am super easy going, fun, and professional. I have experience working weddings, engagements, events, architecture, and studio work (fashion, portraits).
